Cathedral College

Housing is available in the historic Cathedral College. Located on the grounds of Washington National Cathedral, the "collegiate-gothic" style building provides a dormitory-like setting which resembles an English boys' boarding school. It was established in the 1920s as a center of study for the Episcopal clergy. The College features the 1929 Tudor-style dining room designed by Frohman, Robb, and Little, the College Chapel, a peaceful garden in the cloistered courtyard, a library, and wireless internet access. The building is secured but rooms use no keys. There are no phones or televisions in the rooms and generally bathrooms are shared. Cathedral College is a non-smoking facility and is not fully handicapped accessible.

Lodging rates at the Cathedral College are $84 per single per night, and $118 per couple/double per night.  Most rooms share a common hall bath. There are 2 suites available which have a private bath, television and sitting area for $150 per night.  Please note that space is very limited. Rooms will be allocated on a first come first served basis and reservations for rooms will end well before the workshop begins. Please reserve your room quickly! Reservations must be made through Chorworks but payment will be made directly to Washington National Cathedral upon arrival.

MEALS

Daytime meals will be catered and available in the dining hall of the Cathedral College. Costs are $160.00 for the week. Meals begin with Breakfast on Tuesday July 6 and end with Breakfast on Sunday July 11. Everyone is invited to the final lunch on Sunday July 11 regardless of whether you purchase the meal plan or not. We urge you to take advantage of having meals together in the Cathedral College. There is little time to run off campus to get something to eat and dining together is a relaxing social time.
