1605 Requiem is a stunning masterpiece by the
greatest Spanish composer of the late Renaissance.
Passionate, grave, and distinctly Spanish, this work
will resound in the great space of Washington National
Cathedral. It will be complemented by rich and resonant
works for winds, strings, and keyboard, with dazzling
variations for all the players.
