Music by Schütz, Schein & Scheidt

 
An Early Choral Music Workshop
led by Philip Cave

We shall study and sing a selection of motets by the great late-renaissance/early-baroque trinity of Heinrich Schütz (1585-1672), Johann Hermann Schein (1586-1630), and Samuel Scheidt (1587-1654). The workshop will culminate in an informal concert at 4:00pm (admission free). Participants will receive copies of music to take away and soft drinks will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own lunch or visit local restaurants.
